Apps
The VR Fall Protection Experience app from the American Society of Safety Professionals enables workers to safely train in settings that mirror actual environments to prevent injuries and fatalities caused by falls. The app focuses on hazard identification and building a fall protection system. It follows the ANSI/ASSP Z359 fall protection and fall restraint standards. The app provides an immersive 3- to 5-minute experience as headset-wearing users enter a virtual environment to learn how to operate safely when working above ground.

Concept3D’s Tour Builder platform enables users to create, manage and share VR-enabled virtual tours using an intuitive CMS to upload 360-degree panorama or standard images and assign a location. Tour Builder then guides the user through adding information, more images, video and audio tracks to tour stops. The tour can easily be edited and shared via link, and by integrating with Mapbox and OpenStreetMap, Tour Builder creates an in-window “minimap” for easy navigation and jumping between stops, and to highlight the specific geographic location.
Autodesk’s InfraWorks update includes the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS for improved BIM + GIS workflows. The connector can be used to build an InfraWorks model directly from GIS data published to Esri’s ArcGIS Online and all the data in the GIS comes into InfraWorks. There are also updates for users with access to projects in multiple BIM 360 accounts, so when opening, publishing or syncing an InfraWorks model with BIM 360, users will see both the account and project names so they can more easily select the correct model.
