Leading construction owners, developers and merit shop contractors will come together Oct. 10-12 in Dallas for discussions about how to collaboratively improve upon the planning and delivery of high-quality industrial and health care construction projects at the annual ABC Users Summit hosted by Associated Builders and Contractors.

Past events have included representatives from leading power and energy firms such as LG&E and KU Energy LLC, Duke Energy and Pentair Thermal Management (now nVent).

“The ABC Users Summit is a great place to network with users and contractors that are serious about improving the maintenance and construction industry. It is an impressive group of thought leaders to be around,” says Joe Clements, director of power generation commercial operations for LG&E and KU Energy LLC. “I have been attending for the past five years and have come away with great learnings and new contacts each year.”

Topics at this year’s exclusive event will cover everything from automation and technology to contracting strategies, safety performance and the latest construction economic outlook. Registration is complimentary for health care and industrial users/developers.

“We’re always looking for contractors that share our values,” Clements says. “We want to work with firms that practice open and honest communication, bring safe and highly skilled workers to our sites, focus on the customer experience, and meet agreed-upon deliverables to earn ongoing opportunities.”
