In a recent BigRentz poll of 3,000 people aged 18 to 24, only 11 percent stated that they think trade schools lead to high-paying jobs, and 54 percent believe the trade school pay gap is larger than it really is.

Despite the fact U.S. employers are struggling to fill a record seven million new job openings, the survey found young workers do not associate job security with trade schools, which explains the gradual decline in enrollments.
