The National Demolition Association Board of Directors voted unanimously to become the newest member of the Construction Coalition for a Drug- and Alcohol-free Workplace, formed in 2012 to help eliminate substance abuse-related jobsite incidents. To date, nearly 6,000 companies have signed the pledge to maintain workplaces free from substance abuse. The coalition also provides resources to help construction firm implement and strengthen their substance abuse policies.
Other members of the CCDAFW include founders Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors of America, Construction Industry Round Table and Construction Users Roundtable, as well as Independent Electrical Contractors and NCCER.
