Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
ABC-VA
Rhonda Bridgeman, president of Comfort Systems of Virginia, Inc., will serve as Associated Builders and Contractors – Virginia Chapter’s (ABC-VA) Chairwoman of the Board for 2020-2021, effective Sept. 1, 2020. Rhonda is an accomplished businesswoman and a dedicated member of the construction industry, and is the first female chair person in ABC-VA’s history.
Clune Construction Company
Dave Hall was promoted to CEO and Ben Walker was promoted COO of Clune Construction, a national general contractor. In addition, Karen Mari was promoted to executive managing director, and is now a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee. These new leadership announcements come as previous CEO, Bill Abromitis, retired after more than 30 years in the construction industry.
PCI
Dawn Decker was named executive director of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute’s (PCI) Mid-Atlantic region by the Institute’s Board of Directors. PCI is a technical institute for the precast concrete structures and systems industry.
Robinson+Cole
Attorney Frederick Hedberg joined Robinson+Cole’s Construction Practice. Hedberg has more than 20 years of experience handling complex construction matters including litigation. Robinson+Cole’s Construction Law Group was ranked number 35 in the second annual The Top 50 Construction Law Firms list published by Construction Executive.
Vantage Builders, Inc.
Kelly MacLean was promoted to to COO of Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting, construction management and design-build firm based in Waltham, Mass. MacLean has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, directing operations, overseeing complex, multi-million dollar projects and managing cross-functional teams.
