    Kara Achilihu focuses her practice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as real estate investment trusts. During law school, Achilihu earned her business law certification and gained transactional experience by working for a Fortune 100 company, participating in a transactional negotiation competition involving corporate acquisitions, researching emerging international corporate law markets and counseling business-centric clients on community equity development as a student attorney. In her role as student attorney, Achilihu advised corporations, LLCs and community-based groups on corporate governance and structuring, contract drafting and review, entity formation and various compliance considerations.
