    Dr. Issi Romem is Chief Economist at BuildZoom, and is a fellow at the Terner Center for Housing Innovation at the University of California, Berkeley. He researches and writes about cities, metropolitan growth patterns, housing, real estate and construction, and his work has been featured in major publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic and many more. Dr. Romem earned his Ph.D. from Berkeley, where he has taught econometrics as adjunct faculty.
