Appointments Made to Apprenticeship Task Force

Among the appointees to the Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion is Associated Builders and Contractors President and CEO Michael Bellaman.

U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta has appointed a group of people hailing from a wide range of American companies and trade, industry and educational groups to the Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion. Among the appointees is Associated Builders and Contractors President and CEO Michael Bellaman.

The task force, created by Executive Order 13801, is charged with providing President Trump with proposals focused on federal initiatives to promote apprenticeships; administrative and legislative reforms facilitating the formation of apprenticeship programs; the most effective ways to create industry-recognized apprenticeships; and strategies for amplifying and encouraging private sector initiatives that promote apprenticeships.
