Chris Durso, Editor-in-Chief

Chris leads Construction Executive’s day-to-day operations—overseeing all print and digital content, design and production efforts, and working with the editorial team to tell the many stories of America’s builders and contractors. An experienced association magazine editor, writer and publications strategist, he is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and lives in Arlington, Virginia.

Maggie Murphy

Maggie Murphy, Managing Editor

Maggie handles all of Construction Executive’s digital assets, including our website, newsletter, digital edition and social media, in addition to editing our print content and writing feature articles, industry new briefs and community outreach columns. She’s a native Marylander and a graduate of Salisbury University, with a background working on the marketing team for a large general contractor.

Rachel O'Connell, Assistant Editor

Rachel writes features and news articles for the magazine in tandem with editing print and digital content, to include Construction Executive and CE This Week. She graduated from Hollins University and resides in Alexandria, Virginia. 



Marla McIntyre, Freelance Digital Editor

Marla is a freelance journalist with an extensive background in construction and risk management, spending much of her career educating contractors, bankers, project owners, legislators, insurers and attorneys on contract surety bonding issues.  

Jessica Porter, Freelance Digital Editor

Jessica is a seasoned freelance journalist and former assistant editor at Construction Executive. She is based in New York.
