The success we have established in our 35-plus years has been based on our core values. Those core values are built on biblical principles and are the driving force behind our direction—focusing on integrity, responsibility, skill, valuing employees and safely delivering a quality project. As a reminder of who we are and why we conduct business the way we do, our mission and vision statements are prominently displayed on every jobsite trailer.

We strive to be sought out as a trusted firm that provides successful projects. We believe the best way to accomplish this is to develop our employees to be the best they can be both personally and professionally.

Open discussion is encouraged during our quarterly business reviews so we can address accomplishments and shortcomings and how they reflect our established goals. These reviews have proven to be a valuable tool for holding one another accountable to our core values, strategic plan, business plan and department goals.

CNA
Chicago

CNA has an abiding commitment to worker safety and injury management.

Our depth of experience and keen understanding of risk management principles enable us to develop relevant curriculum through our School of Risk Control Excellence (SORCE®), which provides our policyholders and agent and broker partners with systematic, sustainable solutions that help reduce exposures, improve productivity and protect the bottom line.

Despite the best efforts of organizations like ABC and CNA, injuries will still happen. Our workers’ compensation claim specialists work with the overriding objective of providing the best possible outcome, both for our policyholder and especially for the injured worker. The earlier an injury is treated and managed, the more likely the injured employee may be able to remain on the job during the healing period or, if time off is needed, return to work more quickly. This can mean fewer lost days and a focus on the employee’s work ability rather than disability.

The big picture for us is to progressively move forward together. Our approach is to work collectively as a group and to support one another in achieving our shared goals.

Transparency and open communication are key. We evaluate how to better communicate with one another and how much time our clients are spending working within the channels. We have developed, and continue to build out, a software platform that serves as a one-stop resource to our clients and their insurers and claims team.

We value time. We strive to accelerate production while maintaining a quality product and minimizing cost. We strategically onboard key players to expand and better service our current client base, as well as introduce and develop future opportunities.

When we onboard new talent, we implement a mentor program, along with training courses and onsite education instruction, to ensure that our standard operating procedures are adhered to across all markets.
