February's round up of promotions, appointments and awards amongst ABC member companies.


BELL CONSTRUCTION ADDS FOUR NEW OWNERS

On Feb. 2, 2026, BELL Construction announced that Tyler Baldridge, T.J. Cooper, Evan Rankin and Matt Touloeisani have been named additional owners of the company. As they step into expanded leadership responsibilities, they will help guide BELL’s long-term direction and growth while reinforcing the ownership mindset and support network behind project teams across Middle Tennessee.

Tyler Baldridge: Baldridge is a project executive in BELL’s Building Division and leads the company’s Special Projects group, created to meet ongoing demand for high-touch, fast-moving projects often in the under-$15-million range. In this role, he sets the group’s strategy and oversees business development, estimating and operations, ensuring accountability and performance from preconstruction through closeout.

T.J. Cooper: Cooper is a project manager on BELL’s Heavy Highway/Civil Division, supporting infrastructure work that requires disciplined planning, coordination and field execution. He brings 10 years of industry experience and holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Tennessee Technological University. 

Evan Rankin: Rankin is a project manager on BELL’s Building Division team, overseeing work across the hospitality, K-12 education, religious and office markets. His experience includes Nashville Yards Tower 3; Pinnacle Financial Partners headquarters; and May Hosiery Mills, including Soho House Nashville. 

Matt Touloeisani: Touloeisani is a project manager on BELL’s Heavy Highway/Civil Division, supporting infrastructure and civil sitework projects that require schedule accountability, coordination across trades and steady field leadership. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a degree in civil engineering and brings more than 10 years of industry experience.

MCMAHON NAMES ASSOCIATES ACROSS WISCONSIN, INDIANA, ILLINOIS

On Feb. 3, 2026, McMahon announced Nicholas Arps, municipal and civil engineer; Kevin Coros, project manager; Spencer Kocken, structural designer; and Amy Springer, controller and finance manager, as new associates.

Arps has been with McMahon for more than 25 years, serving as a municipal and civil engineer at the company’s Machesney Park, Illinois, office. He has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

A project manager and professional land surveyor at McMahon’s Valparaiso, Indiana, office, Coros has been with the company for 12 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and management technology from Purdue University Northwest.

Kocken has served as a structural designer in McMahon’s Neenah, Wisconsin, office for 11 years. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in structural engineering from MSOE. He is a licensed professional engineer.

Serving as controller and finance manager in McMahon’s Neenah, Wisconsin, office for six years, Springer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and is a certified public accountant.

PECKAR & ABRAMSON ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND LEADERSHIP UPDATES

On Feb. 3, 2026, Peckar & Abramson announced that Paul Monte has been appointed to serve as vice chair of the firm. Monte currently serves on the firm’s executive committee, is co-managing partner of P&A’s New York office, and chairs its infrastructure practice. He balances these duties while continuing to represent many of the industry’s leading public sector contractors in claims and disputes, locally and nationwide.

The firm also welcomed Kim Altsuler, partner-in-charge of P&A’s Houston office, and Levi Barrett, co-managing partner of P&A’s New Jersey office, to its executive committee.

The firm also announced leadership updates in its New Jersey and Texas offices. Gerard Onorata has been appointed as co-managing partner of the New Jersey office. Tiffany Harrod and Ryan Wozny have been appointed partners-in-charge of the firm’s Austin and Dallas offices, respectively. They join Kim Altsuler, who continues to serve as partner-in-charge of the Houston office, along with Denis Ducran and Matt Moore, who serve as co-managing partners of the Texas offices.

ARIZONA BUILDERS ALLIANCE NAMES ROBBY GARVEY AS SOUTHERN ARIZONA CHAIRMAN

On Feb. 3, 2026, The Arizona Builders Alliance announced Robby Garvey as its new Southern Arizona chairman. Garvey, currently project director at Lloyd Construction Company Inc., brings 21 years of construction industry experience and deep knowledge of Southern Arizona’s market to this regional leadership position. 

KILPATRICK ADDS LEADING CONSTRUCTION ENERGY PARTNER IN HOUSTON

On Feb. 4, 2026, Kilpatrick announced the addition of Barclay Nicholson, partner, to the firm’s internationally recognized Construction & Infrastructure Team.  He recently joined the Houston office from Sheppard Mullin.

JEN STEBBINS THOMAS RECEIVES 2026 CELEBRATEHER AWARD FOR LARGE BUSINESS LEADER OF THE YEAR

On Feb. 4, 2026, PROCON proudly announced that Jen Stebbins Thomas was honored by The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth with the 2026 CelebrateHER Award for Large Business Leader of the Year. This prestigious recognition celebrates women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, tenacity, and strength in organizations with more than 50 employees.

BUILDPASS APPOINTS KIRKLAND AUDAIN AS HEAD OF SALES

On Feb. 6, 2026, BuildPass appointed Kirkland Audain as head of sales (North America), strengthening its U.S. leadership team as the business scales across the domestic building sector. Audain has extensive experience leading sales teams across SaaS and technology-driven platforms. Prior to joining BuildPass, he held roles at GoDaddy and its subsidiary Main Street Hub, as well as at Surefire Local and Forward, where he focused on scaling sales functions in competitive markets.

SUFFOLK HIRES AMY ENGEL AS DIRECTOR OF WEST COAST EDUCATION

On Feb. 10, 2026, Suffolk hired Amy Engel as director of West Coast education, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in serving clients and leading role in delivering world-class projects in higher education and other key growth sectors.

MCMAHON ANNOUNCES AMY SPRINGER AND DEREK GRUBER AS NEW DIRECTORS

On Feb. 11, 2026, McMahon announced new directors Amy Springer, CPA, director of finance and Derek Gruber, AIA, director of the architectural division.

Springer has been with McMahon for more than six years, serving as the finance manager at the company’s Neenah, Wisconsin office. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin—Oshkosh.

Gruber has been with McMahon for more than nine years. He previously served as a senior architect and project manager in the architecture division. He has a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee.

GILBANE WELCOMES JOHN CASTILLA AS SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL FOR TEXAS

On Feb. 11, 2026, Gilbane Building announced that industry veteran John Castilla has rejoined the firm as senior business development professional, leading strategic growth initiatives across Texas. In this role, Castilla will focus on client development, pursuit strategy, and strengthening long-term partnerships across key market sectors statewide.

ADOLFSON & PETERSON CONSTRUCTION ANNOUNCES CEO TRANSITION

On Feb. 11, 2026, Adolfson & Peterson Construction announced a planned leadership transition, effective June 1, 2026. Brad Hendrickson, chief operating officer, will assume the role of chief executive officer following the retirement of Jeff Hansen, AP’s CEO since 2017.

LANDRY/FRENCH CONSTRUCTION EXPANDS INTO SOUTHEAST

On Feb. 12, 2026, Landry/French Construction announced the opening of a new office in St. Petersburg, Florida, marking a strategic expansion into the Southeast. To lead this growth, the firm has hired Scott Hutchison as regional executive vice president for the Southeast.

The St. Petersburg office will support Landry/French’s continued growth in Florida and the broader Southeast market, building on the firm’s reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across healthcare, education, commercial, aviation and industrial sectors.

MGAC Opens Australian Office

On Feb. 18, 2026, MGAC expanded to Australia with the launch of a new office in Melbourne. Led by John Cox, senior director, the team will serve the project needs of building owners, investors and developers across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. The opening marks the eleventh office for MGAC and expands the firm’s office footprint to three continents.

PROCON ANNOUNCES KEY LEADERSHIP PROMOTIONS

On Feb. 18, 2026, PROCON announced a series of leadership promotions of six respected leaders whose expertise and commitment to excellence have been paramount to its success. These promotions strengthen the firm’s executive team and ensure continued leadership stability under Chief Executive Officer John Stebbins, the fourth-generation Stebbins family member to lead the firm.

Mike Lawrence, AIA, NCARB: Vice President – Architecture & Engineering, with 13 years at PROCON

Justin Zeimetz: Vice President of Preconstruction with over 20 years of experience in the AEC industry

Kent Beirne, AIA: Senior Vice President – Architecture & Engineering, with 21 years at PROCON and over 36 years of experience in the AEC industry

Christopher Lizotte, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP: Senior Vice President – Architecture & Engineering, leading the multifamily residential and commercial office design studios

Ben Saturley: Senior Vice President of Field Operations, with 19 years at PROCON

Tracey Pelton: Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, with12 years at PROCON and 25 years of experience in the AEC Industry.

BILL HARBISON JOINS MGAC AS DIRECTOR IN SAN FRANCISCO OFFICE

On Feb. 18, 2026, MGAC appointed Bill Harbison as director in the firm’s San Francisco office. In this role, Harbison will focus on expanding the firm’s regional presence, strengthening client partnerships, and leading complex, high-profile projects throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

DAN DAUGHERTY JOINS WELLS AS REGIONAL FACADES MANAGER IN GREAT LAKES REGION

On Feb. 23, 2026, Wells announced that Dan Daugherty is joining as regional facades manager for the Great Lakes region. In this role, Daugherty will drive strategic awareness of Wells’ facade solutions in Illinois and Wisconsin, introducing innovative building envelope solutions to architects, engineers, and contractors

ARIZONA BUILDERS ALLIANCE NAMES RUDY GARCIA JR. 2026 CHAIRMAN

On Feb. 24, 2026, The Arizona Builders Alliance announced Rudy Garcia Jr. as its new board chairman for 2026. Garcia, currently vice president of RG & Sons Plumbing, brings over two decades of construction industry experience and deep community roots to this leadership position.

FTI EXPANDS NATIONWIDE DATA CENTER SERVICE CAPABILITIES AND TALENT

On Feb. 24, 2026, Faith Technologies Incorporated™ announced the hiring of Chad Carter as data center operations director to meet the rapidly growing needs of data center servicing and maintenance nationwide.

FTI works with data center teams to enhance a facility’s operational performance, maintenance and service delivery. Carter’s previous experience as a senior operations manager at Amazon Web Services mirrors that focus on day-to-day operations while maintaining high operational standards in a mission-critical environment.
