GRAYCOR PROMOTES DAVE WING TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

On Dec. 3, 2024, Graycor announced that Dave Wing has been promoted from President and COO of the Graycor family of companies to CEO. Wing joined Graycor as a project engineer in 1991 and has been promoted several times throughout the past 33 years, helping to grow the company through safety leadership, client engagement and performance excellence. With his leadership, and a strong organization alongside him, Graycor has experienced profitable growth as the company journeys toward $1 billion in annual revenue.

GLEN HARTWIG JOINS PRIMORIS SERVICES CORPORATION

On Dec. 9, 2024, Primoris announced that Glen Hartwig has joined the company as president of utilities. Hartwig is a seasoned industry executive with thirty years of experience in utility construction and finance. He has overseen the delivery of major transmission lines, fiber communication installations, and wind and solar projects for the power generation, industrial, and oil and gas industries.

MCMAHON WELCOMES MARK ROHLOFF

On Jan. 6, 2025, McMahon welcomed Mark Rohloff to the role of public safety and municipal management division manager. Rohloff, well known for his roles leading local municipalities, will work alongside Jeff Roemer in leading the division, focused on enhancing public safety and government needs by collaborating with McMahon’s engineering and architectural teams to improve community services and facility safety. Rohloff joins McMahon upon his retirement as the city manager of Oshkosh after more than 16 years.

SPEEDCHAIN APPOINTS DENNIS LYANDRES TO BOD

On Jan. 8, 2025, Speedchain announced the appointment of Dennis Lyandres to its board of directors effective immediately. Lyandres brings a unique blend of experience in financial services, construction management and transformative venture-backed technology companies. His prior experience includes scaling Procore from $10 million to over $900 million in revenue as well as a successful IPO. He also held various sales leadership positions at big data firm, Cloudera, and worked at leading M&A firm, BTI Group. Dennis currently works as an advisor for Iconiq Capital and serves on several boards, including Speedchain’s. He has a proven track record of guiding companies through periods of substantial growth and transformation, ensuring sustainable success in rapidly evolving markets. His addition to the board comes at a pivotal moment for Speedchain as the company accelerates its growth trajectory and broadens its reach nationally.

ADOLFSON & PETERSON CONSTRUCTION APPOINTS COMPANY VETERAN GRANGER HASSMANN AS REGIONAL PRESIDENT—GULF STATES

On Jan. 8, 2025, Adolfson & Peterson Construction promoted Granger Hassmann to president of the Gulf States region. In his new role, the AP veteran is responsible for the Gulf States region’s strategic direction while overseeing all operational activities, client relations, risk management and business performance.

ANF EXPANDS PROJECT LEADERSHIP TEAM

On Jan. 8, 2025, ANF promoted five distinguished leaders within the organization.

Tony Fernandez has been promoted to vice president from his role as project executive. With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Fernandez has been instrumental in the success of ANF’s multifamily sector.

David Trujillo has been promoted to project executive. With 22 years of experience, Trujillo has demonstrated versatility by transitioning from leading complex healthcare and education projects to successfully completing his first market-rate multifamily development.

Ernie Rodriguez has been promoted to project executive. With over 22 years of industry experience, Rodriguez has led a wide range of residential, commercial and educational projects, successfully delivering nearly 3,000 residential units in South Florida.

Peter Kurszewski has also been promoted to project executive. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Kurszewski is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a Bachelor of Science in building construction from the University of Florida.

WALTON & CO. ANNOUNCES JASON HAMME AS INCOMING PRESIDENT

On Jan. 13, 2025Walton & Company announced a successful leadership transition with the appointment of Jason Hamme as the company’s new president. Hamme, with a proven track record as a senior-level project manager, will take the helm as outgoing president Andy Volovar plans to retire in September of 2025. Volovar’s departure comes after 23 years with York-based Walton & Co., during which time he played a key role in shaping the company’s growth and reputation as an industry leader.

Hamme, who was hired by Dick Walton more than 27 years ago, has held various roles at the company, including plumbing laborer, journeyman, foreman and project manager. For the past year, he has worked closely with Volovar to prepare for the role, ensuring a seamless transfer of leadership that upholds Walton’s culture, values and superior services that customers have come to know over the past 35 years.

BELL CONSTRUCTION ADDS NEW OWNER

On Jan. 14, 2025, BELL Construction announced that Chris Bagley, P.E., has been named an additional owner of the company. Bagley, who has served as civil division manager since joining BELL in January 2023, will take on an expanded leadership role, contributing to the company’s strategic direction and continued growth.

A licensed professional engineer in Tennessee and Texas, he has more than 25 years of expertise in estimating, project management, design and design-build. He brings a wide array of certifications, including Licensed Master Plumber, Licensed Fire Sprinkler Contractor and Licensed Professional Engineer.

SKANSKA USA BUILDING NAMES MATT FREY EVP AND GM FOR GEORGIA

On Jan. 22, 2025, Skanska promoted Matt Frey to executive vice president and general manager overseeing Skanska USA Building’s Atlanta-based building operations in the Georgia region. With two decades of construction industry experience, most recently serving as vice president and account manager for the region, Frey brings a proven track record of strategic growth and client relationship management to his new role. He succeeds Scott Cannon who was recently named regional executive officer for the company’s Southeast region.

SUNTEC CONCRETE HIRES INDUSTRY VETERAN KEVIN NEILL

On Jan. 24, 2025, Suntec Concrete hired Kevin Neill as chief financial officer. With over 30 years of experience in construction and engineering finance, Neill is charged with directing the firm’s fiscal strategy and reinforcing its stability as Suntec continues a trajectory of growth and expansion in markets across the West. Neill joins Suntec following 12 years as CFO/treasurer of utility infrastructure services company Centuri Group, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth from $600 million to $3 billion in revenue.

SUNSTATE EQUIPMENT ANNOUNCES CEO TRANSITION

On Jan. 27, 2025, Sunstate Equipment’s Board of Directors was pleased to announce the appointment of Norty Turner as president and CEO beginning Feb. 10, 2025. Turner succeeds Chris Watts, who will retire as president and CEO effective March 28, 2025.

SAM MEYERHOFF PROMOTED TO PE IN CONSIGLI CONSTRUCTION’S WASHINGTON D.C. OFFICE

On Jan. 15, 2025, Consigli Construction Co. Inc. was pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Meyerhoff to project executive in its Washington D.C. office. In her new role, Meyerhoff will build on her extensive experience leading teams and overseeing high profile complex projects, as well as her invaluable efforts to develop and manage client relationships throughout the D.C. area. Meyerhoff has extensive experience in the museum, cultural and federal market sectors, as well as an impressive portfolio of work. She oversaw the Smithsonian Institution’s revitalization of the National Air and Space Museum, including meticulous logistics coordination to support artifact preservation and relocation. Currently, Meyerhoff is leading Consigli’s work with the National Park Service on the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft project. This transformative renovation will create 15,000 square feet of new exhibit space beneath the monument, while maintaining full public access and operational continuity.
