Happy New Year! And happy birthday to Construction Executive, which turns 20 this month. As part of the celebration, we’ve redesigned CE This Week—keeping the mix of topical, relevant content you’ve come to expect from our weekly newsletter, but giving it a bold, stylish makeover.

Our goal was to create a simplified, more impactful reading experience, so, while you’ll still find articles about business, technology, safety, risk and other areas of importance for construction professionals, you won’t find quite as many of them as in the previous version of CE This Week.

Understanding that less is often more when it comes to valuable business intelligence, we’ve reduced the total number of stories in each issue to six, all chosen for their applicability to the greatest number of readers. Some of the subjects, such as economy and sustainability, don’t receive dedicated coverage in our print magazine but rather are exclusive to CE This Week.

We’ve also dialed up the design, with a clean, responsive layout optimized for reading on smartphones and other mobile devices—perfect for busy professionals who are bouncing from office to jobsite and back. Our redesign also takes better advantage of digital media with interactive features such as a weekly poll about something new, urgent, interesting and/or fun related to the industry; you can participate in our first poll here.

The all-new CE This Week is just the beginning of a year of all-new CE products. We’ll be debuting a completely redesigned version of our print magazine, beginning with the January-February 2023 issue, which will be published early next month. Later this year will come a redesigned and relaunched ConstructionExec.com along with a more robust presence on social media—further establishing CE as the best source for multiplatform content about the business of construction.

It’s been a great 20 years. We look forward to having you with us for another 20.
