“Construction is only for the uneducated.”

Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta

NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center in Florida

The Pagoda at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

“The grass is greener where you water it.”

iPhone or Android?

Android

What is the No. 1 way for construction leaders like you to stay ahead of the pack?

Stay hungry.

If you could have lunch with anyone, living or deceased, whom would you choose?

Evel Knievel. He was pioneer of integrated marketing campaigns. He converted viewers into customers and had people lined up to buy everything “Evel Knievel,” from toys to posters to movies. Knievel helped pave the way for others such as Kiss, Dale Earnhardt and George Lucas. I would love to pick his brain and get some ideas.

What has been the most exciting moment of your year?

I have several episodes I have guest-hosted for “GardenSMART” on PBS, along with filming eight to 10 more during spring and summer 2022.
