Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
Associated Builders and Contractors
Tom Dunn was named president of the Arizona Builders Alliance and Stephanie Larkin was named vice president of education, safety and workforce development for the Keystone Chapter.
Burr & Forman
Joshua Stover joined Burr & Forman’s Construction Practice Group. Stover will represent clients including general contractors, owners, subcontractors, developers, architects and engineers.
Chaney Enterprises
Tony Aina was named green building guru of Chaney Enterprises’ building supplies and services division, BuilderUp. Chaney Enterprises is a ready-mix concrete, aggregates, custom blends and related construction supplies provider.
Dixon Hughes Goodman
Gary McDonald joined Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) LLP, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, as a director in the DHG Government Contracting Practice. McDonald will help contractors meet compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Cost Accounting Standards and other government contracting requirements.
Faith Technologies
Caramy Biederman and Sara Hutchcraft were recognized among the top 2018 Women in Construction by Constructech. Biederman is engineering team leader and Hutchcraft is associate preconstruction manager for Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation.
Hoar Construction
As part of Hoar Construction’ leadership succession plan, Turner Burton was named president, Randall Curtis was named COO and Will Watson was named vice president of the company’s Alabama division. Hoar Construction provides professional services in general construction, construction management, design/build and program management, serving clients in government, healthcare, retail, commercial, multifamily and industrial markets.
NCCER
Jason Atkison, Fernando Barragan, Jeffrey Bowering, Destiny Camp, Eric Celaya, Nicholas Gall, Jared Heitkamp, Cody Johnson, Avi Richelson and Antonio Saenz received this year’s Build Your Future Scholarship. NCCER and ABC’s Trimmer Construction Education Fund partner to present the scholarships to the top 10 students attending an NCCER-accredited program or a state/federally approved apprenticeship program in a merit shop training facility.
Protech Mechanical Contractors
Andrew J.C. Patrick joined Protech Mechanical Contractors as residential plumbing service manager. The company is a design/build contractor providing in-house design, engineering and construction services for the fire protection, plumbing and HVAC industries for commercial, industrial, health care and custom residential applications.
Ruppert Landscape
Ethan Brown, Kyle Meissner, Kurt Meyers and Michael Vispi were accepted into Ruppert Landscape’s Associate Branch Manager leadership development program. In addition, Josh Nichols joined the team as regional snow manager, and Collin Fadrowski and Ryan Rote were promoted to branch manager in the company’s landscape management division.
