Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
Associated Builders and Contractors
Maria Casas was named meetings and events coordinator and Taylor Dupree was named chapter services coordinator of the Central Florida Chapter; Donna McGoey joined the Empire State Chapter as director of membership engagement; and Amber Ramsey joined the Greater Baltimore Chapter as marketing and communications coordinator.
Greg Berreles was named membership and business development director, Valerie LaBonte was named instructor support, and John Lafever was named director of instructor development and recruitment of the Greater Michigan Chapter; Bryce McTavisch joined the Inland Pacific Chapter as safety tech; and Rich Formanek joined the Iowa Chapter as safety consultant.
Heather Blush was named president of the New Jersey Chapter; Lizeth Cera joined the New Mexico Chapter as apprenticeship coordinator; Pam Schaal joined the Northern California Chapter as registrar and events assistant; Jordan Hoover joined the San Diego Chapter as administrative and career outreach assistant; and Russell Johnson joined the Southern California Chapter as director of government affairs.
Chaney Enterprises
Francis “Hall” Chaney, III, was named president and CEO of Chaney Enterprises, assuming the role after the retirement of former CEO William “Bill” F. Childs, IV. Childs will continue to serve as a director of the company. Chaney Enterprises is a ready-mix concrete, aggregates, custom blends and related construction supplies provider.
Cozen O’Connor
Christopher M. Sweeney, Alexandra E. Busch, Stephen M. Seeger and Jesse S. Keene joined Cozen O’Connor’s Washington D.C. Construction Law practice. Kaufman Lynn Construction
David M. Mooney, a 25-year industry veteran, joined Kaufman Lynn Construction as regional senior vice president of the firm’s North Carolina operations. Kaufman Lynn Construction is a full-service commercial construction company headquartered in Florida.

Mike Santarone was promoted to CEO and Brian Kappele was promoted to president/COO of Stellar. In addition, Scott Mark was named senior vice president of food manufacturing and logistics; Todd Allsup was named division vice president of corporate sales; and Wyatt Payne was named division vice president of the field services, quality and safety group. Stellar is a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services.
