Associated Builders and Contractors

Michelle Whittaker was named events manager and Alain Joachin was named administrative and career outreach coordinator of ABC’s San Diego Chapter; Erin Stewart joined TEXO as director of CTE development; Teresa Deras joined the New Mexico Chapter as education and member services coordinator; Jane Gimler joined the Texas Coastal Bend chapter as its new president; and Danielle Kent joined the South Texas Chapter as membership coordinator.

ABC’s Greater Baltimore Chapter

Jimmy Stewart was named director of Project JumpStart, replacing Kate McShane who recently retired after leading the organization for ten years. Project Jumpstart is an 87-hour pre-apprenticeship training and placement program by the Greater Baltimore Chapter.

Harkins Builders

Harkins Builders was named one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in the greater Baltimore area by Baltimore Business Journal in its 2019 Fast 50 List. Harkins is a preconstruction and construction management firm.

Ruppert Landscape

Julie A. Smith was appointed to Ruppert Landscape’s Board of Directors. Smith is chief administrative officer at The Bozzuto Group. Ruppert Landscape, a family and employee-owned business, provides commercial landscape construction and management. The Bozzuto Group is an experience-focused real estate company.
