Associated Builders and Contractors

Timothy Mongeau was appointed director of workforce development for Associated Builders and Contractors. Mongeau has more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing construction education programs and will spearhead ABC’s workforce development strategies and initiatives at the state and local level.

Jason Ashlaw joined the Empire State Chapter as director of safety, craft training and workforce development. Ashlaw was a Craft Instructor of the Year award finalist in 2017.

Amy Pierce-Danders was named director of workforce development for ABC’s Western Michigan Chapter.

BBMK Contracting

The construction management team from CVC Hospitality Inc., a hotel renovation company, was hired by BBMK Contracting, a national general contractor, and Blue Team Restoration, the commercial property restoration arm of BBMK. As part of the move, Chris Kersey, former president of CVC Hospitality, was named senior director of construction with BBMK Contracting. In addition, Gary Ehrlich, former vice president of construction and development for Bluegreen Vacations Corporation, joined the BBMK team as senior vice president of construction.

Cavignac & Associates

Jessica White, Esq., SPHR, was named human resources risk advisor for Cavignac & Associates, a risk management and insurance brokerage firm specializing in the design and construction industry. The company recently was named a “Best Practices Agency” by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America for the 11th year in a row.

GPS Insight

Gary Fitzgerald was named CEO of GPS Insight, succeeding Robert Donat, and focuses on technology advancement. GPS Insight is a provider of tailored fleet management solutions for organizations with fleets of vehicles, trailers and other mobile assets.

GZA

Enda Fahey was promoted to chief financial officer of GZA, a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water and construction management services. Fahey joined GZA as corporate controller in 2014 and served as acting chief financial officer following the retirement of GZA’s previous CFO, Dan Breuer.

National Academy of Construction

Lynn Schubert was elected to become a member of the National Academy of Construction’s (NAC) class of 2018. Schubert is president of the Surety and Fidelity Association of America in Washington, D.C. The NAC is an organization of industry leaders who have made life-long contributions to the design, construction and engineering industries.

PCL Construction

Deron Brown joined PCL Construction as president and chief operating officer, US Operations. Brown is also a member of the PCL Board of Directors and joins the Office of the CEO, which provides PCL’s top senior executive management and leadership. PCL is a group of independent construction companies that carries out work across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Australia.

Spancrete

Jeff Winters was promoted to executive vice president of Spancrete, an industry leader in engineered precast and prestressed building solutions and machinery. Winters has been with the company since 2015.
