Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
Holt Construction Corp.
Patricia Zugibe was named CEO of Holt Construction Corp., a full-service construction management and general contractor. Zugibe brings experience in leadership roles spanning over three decades as a principal owner of development and construction companies, acting county executive and an attorney.
JE Dunn Construction
Stephen Mathews joined the legal team for JE Dunn Construction’s East Region as vice president and East Region general counsel. Mathews transferred from JE Dunn’s Houston office, where he served as senior counsel with a focus on construction law. JE Dunn Construction is a general building contractor that provides construction management services and self-perform services at select locations.
NCCER
Stephen Toups, president of Turner Industries in Baton Rouge was elected by NCCER to serve as its 2021 board of trustees’ chairman. Toups succeeds Michael Bennett, vice president of The Cianbro Companies, who remains a member of the executive committee and is the co-chair of the newly founded Past Chairman’s Council. Brendan McAndrews, chief operations officer of McAndrews Glass, joined the board of trustees as the Associated Builders and Contractors’ appointee from its executive committee. NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation.
Sovereign Claims
John Humphreys was named chief claims officer, Neal Conolly was named president and Tim Gallagher was named COO of Sovereign Claims, a leading insurance risk management consultancy serving underwriters to the real estate development, general contracting and construction industries.
