Associated Builders and Contractors

Matthew Abeles was hired as vice president of construction technology and innovation, a new role created by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Abeles will spearhead efforts to integrate construction technology and innovation into all aspects of ABC’s strategic initiatives, particularly total human health, world-class safety and workforce development.

Bell & Associates Construction

Scott McKinney, senior project manager of Bell & Associates Construction, earned the Safety Certification for Transportation Project Professionals credential from the American Road and Transportation Builders Association Foundation. Bell & Associates Construction provides general contracting, design-build and construction management services across multiple sectors, including hospitality, office and transportation.

JE Dunn Construction

Janet Bates joined JE Dunn Construction as client solutions manager, and is responsible for business development in Charleston, S.C., and the surrounding area. Bates also is president of the Palmetto Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. JE Dunn Construction provides construction management, program management and design/build services nationwide, as well as limited self-perform services.

LEO A DALY

Ellen Mitchell-Kozack, AIA, LEED BD+C, WELL AP, SEED, joined LEO A DALY as vice president, chief sustainability officer. LEO A DALY is a global planning, architecture, engineering and interiors firm.

Moss Construction

Todd Willis, a 23-year industry veteran, was promoted to vice president of Moss Construction’s headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Moss is a national privately held construction firm focusing on construction management, design-build and public-private partnerships.

Ryan Companies

Jon Paul Bacariza was promoted to vice president, market leader of Ryan Companies, covering the Tampa Bay region. Ryan Companies offers comprehensive commercial real estate services as a national developer, architect, capital investment consultant, builder and real estate manager.

Turner Construction Company

Kevin Williams was promoted to business manager, leading the Nashville office of Turner Construction Company. Matt Nicholson was promoted to special projects division manager and Suzannah Gills was promoted to business development manager of Turner’s Nashville office as well. Vice President and General Manager John Gromos’ responsibilities were increased to take on a more regional focus at the office. Turner is a North America-based, international construction services company.

Verdex Construction

Joey Mandese, a 30-year industry veteran, was named vice president and managing director of Verdex Construction’s new office in Gainesville, Fla. Verdex Construction is a privately held building contractor.
