Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.

Aronson LLC

Aronson LLC was named one of the Washington, D.C., area’s Top Workplaces by the The Washington Post for the seventh time. The Washington Post’s "Top Workplaces" list spotlights the region’s top 200 companies with the highest ratings from their employees. Aronson provides a comprehensive platform of assurance, tax and consulting solutions.

BELL Construction

Alexzondra Fleetwood was named human resources director and Shane Tresch was named project executive of BELL Construction (BELL). BELL is a Southeast-based construction company providing general contracting, design-build and construction management services across multiple sectors, including hospitality, office and transportation.

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP

Jon Paul Hoelscher, a partner in Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP’s Houston office, was elected to serve a three-year term as a council member for the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Hoelscher is a member of Bradley’s construction and energy practice groups and is board certified in construction law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Callahan Construction Managers

Fourteen Callahan Construction Managers (Callahan) employees recently became PHIUS Certified Builders by Passive House Institute US Inc.—a non-profit organization committed to making high-performance passive building the mainstream market standard. Two more Callahan employees are on track to receive the certification as well. Callahan is a full-service construction management company.

Jacobsen Construction Company

Matt Radke was appointed chief operating officer and Dennis Cigana was named chief development officer of Jacobsen Construction Company. The COO role was previously held by John Fortuna, who retired in January after 28 years with the company. Jacobsen is a 100% employee-owned, Employee Stock Ownership Program company with more than 600 employees.

JPI

Mollie Fadule was named chief financial and investment officer of multifamily developer JPI. Fadule joins JPI with more than 15 years of experience in real estate, private equity, and real estate and construction technology. She will lead the finance, legal in addition to investment and capital markets teams.

Schneider Electric

Luis D’Acosta was named executive vice president of the digital energy global business for Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation. D’Acosta takes over the position from Laurent Bataille, who was appointed executive vice president, France operations, and a member of the executive committee.

TDIndustries

Evelyn Miller, chief financial officer of TDIndustries, Inc., received the 2021 Executive of the Year Award from the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). The CFMA awards recognize the achievements and contributions of individuals across the construction industry.

Vantage Builders, Inc.

Peter Cusson joined Vantage Builders, Inc., as chief financial officer and will oversee the firm’s financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, planning, analysis and risk management. Vantage Builders is a commercial contractor specializing in preconstruction, construction management and design-build services.
