Arup

Brian Swett, Arup principal and Americas Cities leader, was named the new Boston office leader of Arup’s Boston group. Swett is a nationally recognized expert on climate change and sustainable development. Arup is a global consulting, engineering and design firm pioneering in urban sustainability and resilience in the built environment.

Cavignac & Associates

Kelly Potter, CIC, PWCA, and Preston Cavignac, CPCU, CIC, CRM, were hired by Cavignac & Associates, joining six existing principals in part ownership of the firm. They will participate on the company’s executive board of management and help drive future growth and direction. Cavignac & Associates specializes in the real estate, construction and design industry, providing a broad range of insurance and expertise to help clients lower their exposures to risk.

Langley & Banack, Inc.

Ian McLin joined Langley & Banack, Inc., as a shareholder at the company’s San Antonio office. McLin’s practice is focused primarily on construction, surety, insurance and commercial litigation. Langley & Banack, Inc., has 18 practice areas led by attorneys with top academic credentials and extensive experience to provide the highest quality legal representation to clients.

Ruppert Landscape

Garth Jorgensen was named branch manager of Ruppert Landscape’s newest branch in Delaware. In addition, Brian Windley was promoted to branch manager of the company’s Toughkenamon, Penn., office and Rachel Kelly was named director of quality and efficiency for the southern region’s landscape management division. Ruppert Landscape is a family and employee-owned business that provides commercial landscape construction and management.

Summit Electric Supply

Patrick Davis was named president and CEO of Summit Electric Supply, and he brings more than 25 years of experience in electrical distribution. Summit Electric Supply is a privately held, independent electrical distributor.
