ABC of Florida

George Cuesta was elected chairman of Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida. Cuesta is a principal of Miami-based Cuesta Construction Company. ABC of Florida is governed by a board of directors made up of representatives from five ABC chapters in Florida. Cuesta is a member of the 2018 Board for ABC Florida East Coast Chapter.

Doster Construction Company

Allan Dedman was promoted to COO of Doster Construction Company, a provider of general contracting, construction management and design-build services to clients across the country. Dedman will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth and operational success of the company’s divisions.

Harkins Builders

Gary Garofalo was named CEO of Harkins Builders, Inc., in addition to being president of the company, and Larry Kraemer was named COO. The change is a result of the retirement of Dick Lombardo, who will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Harkins Builders, Inc., which provides professional preconstruction and construction management services to clients with negotiated construction projects.

Ranallo & Aveni LLC

Joshua T. Morrow, J.D., was promoted to partner with Ranallo & Aveni LLC. Morrow leads the firm’s litigation practice, representing businesses and individuals in the areas of business and commercial litigation, construction and real estate litigation, general civil litigation and appellate matters. Ranallo & Aveni is a boutique law firm that services closely held businesses and individuals throughout Ohio.

Ruppert Landscape

Mike Monde was promoted to director of culture and procedures in Ruppert Landscape’s landscape management division. In addition, Tim Schofield was promoted to branch manager of the company’s landscape management branch in King of Prussia, Penn. Ruppert Landscape is a family and employee-owned business that provides commercial landscape construction and management.

Turner Construction Company

Christian Lipke joined Turner Construction Company—an international construction services company—as a project executive in its Nashville office. Lipke is responsible for leading, managing and coordinating all phases of commercial projects and will contribute to business development initiatives.

Universal Builders Supply

Chris Evans was promoted to president of Universal Builders Supply, a hoisting, scaffolding, access and protection system company. Previously, Evans was COO and professional engineer with the company. Evans is the first non-family president of the 85-year-old company.

Windover Construction

Windover Construction formed an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) after its 10th anniversary, giving 100 percent ownership to the firm’s 90 employees. Lee Dellicker will continue as CEO and Stuart Meurer is president. Hannah Ginley was promoted to chief people officer. Windover Construction creates academic, nonprofit and commercial spaces as well as custom homes and residential communities.
