Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
Atlantic Constructors, Inc.
Evan Shriver was named chief executive officer (CEO) of Atlantic Constructors, Inc., (ACI). Previously, he was executive vice president of construction operations for the company. Art Hungerford, the company’s founding CEO, will transition to the role of chairman. ACI is a full-service industrial and commercial contractor.
Baker Donelson
Bert Chollet was added to Baker Donelson’s Nashville office as a member of the firm’s Construction Group. Chollet, who joins Baker Donelson as of counsel, practices in all areas of construction law.
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
Ann Poppen was promoted to vice president, operations in the Sacramento office and Kevin McKay was promoted to vice president, operations of the San Francisco office of McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a national design-build general contractor.
Ruppert Landscape
John Harich was promoted to director of business development of Ruppert Landscape’s landscape management division. David Roles was transferred from branch manager of the Frederick branch to the Laytonsville branch to fill Harich’s previous position. Melissa Dunk was promoted to branch manager to fill Roles’ position in the Frederick branch. In addition, David Hensel was promoted to branch manager of the company’s newest location in the eastern region of Richmond, Va. Ruppert Landscape is a family and employee-owned business that provides commercial landscape construction and management.
Skanska USA
Barkley Richey was promoted to senior director of business development for the Georgia and South Carolina regions of Skanska USA, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms. Barkley will be responsible for the firm’s strategic growth and development opportunities, and will be based in the Atlanta office.
