Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.
Chaney Enterprises
Jan Holt, Chaney Enterprises’ chief customer officer, was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record. The Daily Record’s Maryland’s Top 100 Women recognizes outstanding achievements by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring. Chaney Enterprises is a ready-mix concrete, aggregates, custom blends and related construction supplies provider.
David Allen Company
Christopher Walker, vice president of David Allen Company, was recognized with the National Tile Contractors Association’s 2017 Tile Person of the Year Award. The award recognizes Walker’s 32 years of experience in the tile industry as a manager and installer. David Allen Company is a tile, stone, terrazzo, underlayment and specialty concrete contractor.
HITT Contracting
Kim Roy was named CEO of HITT Contracting, making her the only female chief executive at an ENR 100 company. Co-presidents Brett Hitt, whose grandfather founded the company 80 years ago, and Jim Millar were named co-chairmen of a newly formed board. Russell Hitt was named chairman emeritus. Two other senior executives, Jeremy Bardin and Drew Mucci, were named co-presidents.
Schneider Electric
Shonodeep Modak was appointed chief marketing officer for North America for Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation. Modak will be responsible for the development and implementation of the brand and marketing strategy in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Truss LLC
Paul Cohen, vice president of Truss, was named one of Ingram’s 40 Under Forty. Cohen started his career at Truss at 22 years old as an account executive and later became the company’s youngest vice president.
