These industry-leading professionals are the 2025 recipients of ABC’s Construction Workforce Awards, presented at ABC Convention 2025 in February. Each year, the CWAs honor individuals who have played a critical role in shaping the future of the industry in three categories:
Young Professional of the Year: Sponsored by Procore, the Young Professional award recognizes someone under the age of 40 who is dedicated to the merit shop and is a natural leader and top performer in their field, based on career achievement, leadership and vision for the future of the commercial and industrial construction industry.
Craft Instructor of the Year: Sponsored by the National Center for Construction Education and Research and Tradesmen International, the Craft Instructor award recognizes an instructor who possesses outstanding creativity, a positive attitude and the ability to transfer knowledge through communications skills and innovative teaching to promote lifelong learning to the future construction workforce.
Craft Professional of the Year: Sponsored by NCCER and Tradesmen International, the Craft Professional award recognizes a construction craft professional who excels in their field, demonstrates a passion for the trades, exhibits outstanding leadership qualities and demonstrates a commitment to safety, education and the merit shop philosophy.
