More than half of employees surveyed for Openpath’s Office Technology Study think their company access control system could be improved or modernized, and 40% find it difficult or unpleasant to get into their office every day. The way to create a better work environment, according to nearly three-quarters of respondents, is to implement smart office technologies.
Specifically, 36% of employees surveyed believe smart technology needs to be integrated into their office security protocols, specifically at the office entrance. And the majority believe they will be working in a smart office in the next five years.
