Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.

ABC

Chris Durso joined Associated Builders and Contractors as editor-in-chief of Construction Executive, where he oversees the magazine’s print and digital content.

Bill Hughbanks joined the ABC Inland Pacific Chapter as president, succeeding Suzanne Schmidt who will retire Dec. 31. In addition, Alicia Maltby was named president of the ABC Alaska Chapter.

Harkins Builders

Ben Nichols was promoted to president of Harkins Builders, an employee-owned construction company serving clients in the development of multifamily, commercial and government projects. Nichols previously served as vice president. In addition, Jayson Williams joined the company’s board of directors, and is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Mayson-Dixon Companies.

Stevens Construction

Steven Price joined Stevens Construction as project manager, bringing 20 years of experience in health care, senior living and education construction experience. Stevens Construction provides construction management, general contracting and consulting services to clients and design professionals.
