Two McMahon employees are recognized with Lifetime Achievement Awards from Wisconsin City/County Management Association
On July 28, McMahon celebrated employees Mark Rohloff and Russ Van Gompel who recently received Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Wisconsin City/County Management Association. The award honors individuals who have made significant personal and professional contributions to their communities and the advancement of local government management.
Rohloff is the manager of McMahon’s Public Safety and Municipal Management division. Over his career, he has served as city manager for Oshkosh, city administrator in Berlin, town administrator in Grand Chute, as well as numerous other positions in California and Colorado.
Van Gompel, a public management specialist at McMahon, was honored for over 40 years of dedicated service to local governments. His career began in the Village of Little Chute as finance director and later village administrator, followed by roles as village manager in Brown Deer, city manager in Eau Claire and finance director for the City of Oshkosh.

McMahon Announces Chris Dopkins and Tony Kappell as New Directors
On August 18, McMahon announced Chris Dopkins, project manager, and Tony Kappell, water/wastewater project engineer, have been named directors in the company.
Dopkins has been with McMahon for more than 27 years, serving as a project manager at the company’s Machesney Park, Illinois office. He has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. Dopkins will hold the title of director of regional services.
Kappell has served as a project engineer in McMahon’s water/wastewater division, based in Neenah, Wisconsin, for 21 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering, both from the University of Minnesota. Kappell will hold the new title of director of water/wastewater division.
