FieldLens App Streamlines Collaboration
FieldLens users can view and respond to all of their content right from the app without worrying about onboarding other contractors, design team members or anyone else. Users can also assign or CC FieldLens items to anyone in their address book. Replies from a share notification will remain outside of FieldLens and go to the user’s email inbox instead. FieldLens will be sharing how construction teams in the real world are using FieldLens to eliminate extra steps and wasted time in a series of “fighting the bullshit” articles.

Dexter + Chaney Expands Access to Spectrum With Customizable Dashboard

Spectrum Dashboard includes a large number of pre-built apps that users can place on their desktop. Autodesk Changes Upgrade Policy
Beginning Feb. 1, 2015, Autodesk is simplifying its current upgrade policy and will no longer offer the option to purchase upgrades for all non-current product releases. After this date, only customers with Autodesk Subscription benefits will have access to a reduced price for the most recent software version. Customers who wish to use the latest release after Feb. 1 will have the option to purchase the latest version at the suggested retail price.

Procore Launches Procore Drive - Secure File Sharing for Construction
Procore Drive LogoProcore Technologies, Inc. released Procore Drive, a new file storage and synchronization application. Procore Drive allows teams to share and collaborate on large files without the impediments of FTP clients or other cumbersome file sharing solutions. Drive is a fast, simple document management platform with rapid file upload and download, plus drag and drop functionality. Users can select documents directly from their desktop, Outlook or Gmail and drop them into Procore. All files housed in Procore Drive are automatically synced with Procore's cloud-based project management application. Dexter + Chaney Receives Equity Investment from Pamlico Capital
Pamlico Capital and the management team of Dexter & Chaney, Inc. announced today that Pamlico has made a growth equity investment in the company. CEO and Founder John Chaney, along with President Norbert Orth and other executive management team members, will retain significant ownership of Dexter + Chaney and will continue to manage the growth of the company in partnership with Pamlico. Pamlico typically makes growth equity investments of up to $100 million alongside proven management teams in its target industries.

Aconex Connected BIM Supports Pilot Projects and Industry Adoption
Aconex, a cloud collaboration platform for the global construction industry, and the Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore (REDAS) have agreed on the deployment of Aconex Connected BIM and other collaboration solutions for selected pilot projects of its member developers. The strategic partnership agreement is part of the REDAS Developer-Centric Building Information Modeling (BIM) Initiative to improve collaboration, workflow management and productivity across architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and contractors in the Singapore real estate value chain. The 10 member developers engaged in the initiative(Allgreen, Bukit Sembawang, CapitaLand, CDL, CEL, Far East Organization, Frasers Centrepoint, Guocoland, Keppel Land, and Wing Tai) will each nominate a specific live project to pioneer the Connected BIM approach. The objectives are to detect and avoid design clashes early, reduce rework, accelerate construction schedules, and deliver safer, higher quality and more sustainable built assets.
