GRAPHISOFT’S BIMx and BIMx PRO Have Extended Cloud Storage Access
Graphisoft bimxGRAPHISOFT® BIM architectural software developer has introduced cloud storage access for its BIM presentation app, BIMx. The document picker allows users to link popular cloud storage services like iCloud and Dropbox to the app for seamless downloading and opening of BIMx models. New features of BIMx PRO include:

  • Control Per-Element Info, which fuses building element Information into the model. Using Apple’s data detector technology, the information in an info tag is recognized as an email, telephone number, hyperlink or address, providing direct links to the corresponding mobile app.
  • AirPrint for printing 3-D and 2-D contents of BIMx Hyper-models from iOS.
  • Zone Stamps on the floor plans and zone labels in the 3-D model are interactive within the BIMx model.
BIMx is available in the App Store and on Google Play. A BIMx Webinar on July 7 offers a live demonstration of BIMx cloud storage access.
