Mandatory Paid Sick Leave: A New Compliance Requirement for Contractors
DOL’s final rule establishing paid sick leave for federal contractors took effect January 1, 2017. Construction contractors that bid on and perform federally funded construction projects and their subcontractors, tradesmen, materialmen, suppliers and consultants, must adopt new policies and procedures to comply.
