Apps

Travelers mobile app, Risk Toolworks, has more than 1,000 risk management guides and training resources. The app includes a Checklist and Inspection Tool to monitor hazards; Task Manager to track and manage safety-related activities; Self-Assessments of safety programs; Risk Control Correspondence Archive of recommendations, safety resources, loss analyses and other correspondence; Industrial Hygiene Lab Order Forms for testing air quality, noise level, etc.; and ZoneCheck to help identify equipment-generated ground vibration risks for construction projects.

Products
Sometimes low tech is best. Post-it® Extreme XL Notes have a large surface area for writing and stick to a range of surfaces found at construction sites - including steel, cement, PVC, plywood, brick and stone. They are made with Dura-Hold™ paper and adhesive to last in tough conditions - including heat, cold, wind and water.

Software & In the Cloud

Autodesk Revit 2020 features new tools and enhancements so users can generate consistent, coordinated and complete model-based building designs and documentation while connecting data and people to enable smoother collaboration and project delivery - and decrease time spent on rote tasks.

The iCON iCT30 construction layout tool, combined with the construction-tailored Leica iCON build field software, features simple telescope aiming, reliable accuracy and one-person operation. The iCT30 can assist operators to deal with difficult site conditions, such as reflections, interruptions of line of sight or congestions.

TRUCE Software (formerly Cellcontrol) distracted driving mobile device management software, Contextual Mobile Device Management platform, reduces the risk of dangerous job site conditions. The software enables just the apps and functions that are relevant to the task while minimizing the interrupting pings, buzzes and other diversions.

PlanGrid BIM integrates with Autodesk RevitⓇ so users can immediately access BIM data, in either 2D or 3D, directly within PlanGrid on a mobile device. PlanGrid's new BIM functionality includes BIM-enabled Sheets for access BIM data properties; 3D BIM Viewer to transition into a 3D view of a specific object; and Revit Integration so Sheets are published directly from Revit into PlanGrid.

Trimble has updates to its Earthworks Grade Control Platform Version 1.9; Siteworks Software with GNSS Tilt Compensation and Android Support; and Previews WorksManager Software for Civil Construction.

AgmisEasyFlow CV softwaresuite analyzes, tracks, measures and provides actionable insights from security or specialized video monitoring cameras. The solution can recognize hardhats, safety goggles, high visibility vests, protective boots and other safety equipment. If software detects a PPE violation, it notifies a site safety officer in real time. It also can identify when an employee asks for assistance and can track worker movement around the construction site and track quantities of materials stored on site.

ConEst SaaS solution CE Cloud with remote access and improved security has the same features of the desktop versions of ConEst's estimating, takeoff and project management software, including IntelliBid, SureCount and JobTrac.

Oracle Aconex Model Coordination Cloud Service enables construction design and project professionals to collaboratively manage BIM models in a true common data environment (CDE). Features include seamless clash and design issue management and resolution, dashboard overview and reporting, viewpoints/personal “bookmarks” within models and the linking of documents to objects, integrated measurements and process support and a full audit trail with the supply chain.

Momentum IoT connects to the cloud so that fleet managers can track equipment in real time, see trips and speeds, and set up alerts for equipment and maintenance malfunctions. The software also comes with a robust reporting system that offers a dashboard view of odometer, voltage and fuel levels so that managers can reduce idle times.

ZBrains FieldTech ERPpowered by Zoho, connects every element of a field service operation. Integrations with Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Sage 100 and Google. Highlights include quoting/estimating; scheduling; inventory; management; time tracking; equipment tracking; invoice and expense tracking; job costing and commission calculation.

Partnerships & Acquisitions

Computer Guidance Corporation and Procore have integrated Procore Construction Financials & Project Management and eCMS ERP. eCMS Connect for Procore enables near real-time data exchange and standardized business processes across field project operations and corporate financial management disciplines. The integration of the two solutions allows for a single point of data entry.

Video & Cool Stuff
