Western Specialty Contractors Hires Ashton House as Regional Business Development Manager

On June 13, Western Specialty Contractors announced the hiring of Ashton House of Fort Worth, Texas, as regional business development manager for region 2 covering Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. House has eight years of sales experience in modular building office space and a master’s degree in business administration. In her new role, House is tasked with supporting the sales staff and developing business for Western’s various branch offices in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Woolpert Welcomes Client Manager and Strategist Donna Becco Schroeder to Lead Public Market

With 30-plus years of client and account management experience and a global design portfolio that includes commercial, office, mixed-use, retail, industrial, hospitality and education projects, Donna Becco Schroeder joined Woolpert as public market director on June 13. She will lead strategy and client development for public sector architecture and engineering clients, nationally and globally.

ANF Group Appoints Sasha Seco Alvarez as Chief Information Officer

Sasha Seco was appointed to chief information officer of ANF Group on June 12. She brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate and construction and will use that expertise to align new technology resources and initiatives with ANF’s goals and objectives.

Carhartt Appoints Tara Roemke New VP of Global Merchandising

On June 8, Carhartt announced the appointment of Tara Roemke as the company’s new vice president of global merchandising. After 13 years as vice president of product management at Ariat International, Roemke will take her skills to Carhartt to manage the Carhartt Men’s and Carhartt Company Gear lines.

Primoris Services Corporation Welcomes New Power Delivery Leadership

On June 6, Primoris Services Corporation welcomed James Pratt and Michael Luckey to its Utilities segment. Pratt will serve as president of power delivery, and Luckey will serve as senior vice president of major projects.

Procon Promotes Two to Corporate Leadership Team

With a combined 34 years of AEC industry experience, Michael Yeatman and James Grant joined Procon LLC’s leadership team on May 31.

Woolpert Promotes Sam Talje to Market Director

On May 25, Woolpert’s Austin, Texas, division promoted professional engineer Sam Talje to lead its South Region. Talje has been with Woolpert since 2021 when the company acquired CivilTech Engineering, where Talje served as executive vice president and chief business development officer. He will bring those skills to Woolpert’s Texas market, directing the firm’s water and transportation strategy.

Michael Kerby Promoted to COO Role in Big-D Family of Companies

On May 4, Michael Kerby made the move from president of Big-D Signature Group to chief operating officer. Since joining the group in 2015, Kerby has helped grow the Signature Resort and Residences Division in Park City and Jackson, as well as the relationship with Dovetail Construction in Bozeman. He will continue to foster these relationships in his new role.

IMC Construction Appoints Michael Lloyd as President

On May 4, IMC Construction announced the appointment of Michael Lloyd as president, succeeding Robert Cottone, who served IMC as president for 20 years and 37 years in total. Cottone will remain chairman of the board of directors, but looks forward to Lloyd’s appointment.

Holcim Building Envelope Names Kristin Beck President of Commercial Roofing Systems & Lining Business Unit

On April 20, Holcim promoted Kristin Beck—global chief supply chain officer—to president of its Americas Commercial Roofing Systems & Lining business unit. While Beck will retain her role as global chief supply chain officer, leading supply chain, customer service and planning, as president, she will lead the business unit’s marketing, sales, operations and technology. Beck succeeds Jamie Gentoso, who held the position since Holcim Building Envelope’s formation in June 2022.
